COLLECTORS CATALOGUES
CREATE YOUR OWN MUSEUM

A cataloguing app for metal-detecting finds

The find of the year deserves better than a phone note that says "field behind Dave's, near the gate".

Collectors Catalogues is free on Android, works in the browser, and carries no advertising and no marketplace. Get the app → · About it

Your findspots stay yours

Record the exact spot with a pin — and that pin is visible to you alone. Other collectors see only a deliberately blurred region. Never your pin, never your permission, never your patch. The server also strips location data out of every uploaded photograph, because a picture taken in a field quietly carries the field's coordinates inside it.

Honest about the weird lump of rust

Plenty of apps push you to slap a confident name on everything. Here, uncertain is a first-class answer: record what you can see, sketch the detail the camera missed in the field sketchbook, and put the mystery to the identification board when you are stuck. The record improves as you learn; the history of your guesses is kept, not erased.

From pouch to museum

Every find gets photographs, measurements, condition and a permanent number in your register. Arrange the good ones into museums of your own and share a link — or keep the whole thing private. Nothing is priced, nothing is for sale, and no advertising ever appears.
